Hannah and Chadwick got married on June 16 at The Barn at Tatum Acres, a venue in North Georgia. When I first arrived, the rain came down and delayed some of the portraits. Hannah was so calm though and rolled with everything that happened. Then, the rain stopped and the sun came out just before their private first look. They were so tender and gentle with each other, something that is always so sweet to photograph. The barn is super gorgeous, painted white, on the top of a hill. It features a stunning field for photos, and a stunning reception space inside.
During the ceremony, lightening and thunder surrounded the mountain we were on, making the sky a pink/grey hue and yet, the sun was still shining directly on the two of them. Their ceremony had a sermon, one that talked about Christ’s love for his bride, the church, and Chadwick’s responsibility to love and cherish and honor Hannah. After the exchanging of rings and vows, their closest family members came up and prayed for them before they were pronounced husband and wife.
This truly was one of the most precious weddings and I am so honored that my team and I were invited to be a part and capture it.
