Earlier this summer, we had the pleasure of capturing Anna and Elijah’s engagement session at the breathtaking Cator Woolford Gardens in Atlanta. This enchanting location, nestled on 39 acres of hardwood forest in the heart of Druid Hills, offers a rare glimpse into 1920s Atlanta with nods to a quintessential Italian-style garden.
A Love Story Began at Church
Anna and Elijah’s love story began three years ago at Four Points Church. Their connection has grown stronger with each passing day, leading them to this beautiful season. As their wedding week approaches, we couldn’t be more excited for them and are deeply thankful to have captured their engagement session.
The Attire
Anna looked stunning in a Zimmermann Petal Appliqué Linen-Silk Corset Gown. This exquisite midi-length piece features a sweetheart neckline, spaghetti straps, and a corset-inspired bodice, adorned with delicate petal appliqués. Elijah complemented her perfectly in a gray linen-blend suit, adding a touch of elegance to the serene garden setting.
Exploring the Gardens
Our session took us through the lush, manicured gardens, which boast foliage from all seasons and styles. The sun casted a golden glow over the entire space, illuminating the romantic atmosphere of the evening. The gardens, virtually untouched by city sprawl, provided a sense of escape despite the bustling city of Atlanta.
Moments Captured
As we wandered through the pathways, Anna and Elijah’s love for each other was so evident and a true joy to witness. Every glance, every touch, spoke volumes about their deep connection. The garden’s historic charm and natural beauty provided the perfect canvas for their story, from intimate close-ups to wide scene setter spaces, showcasing the grandeur of the gardens.
Looking Ahead
With their wedding day fast approaching this weekend, their engagement session at Cator Woolford Gardens was a beautiful prelude to the celebration of their union and new chapter they’re about to begin. We are honored to have been a part of their journey!
