I had the honor of meeting Kristin and Cody at Cator Woolford Gardens earlier this spring and took photographs of them in the beautiful Cator Woolford Gardens, a secret gem hidden in the heart of Atlanta. The location is just minutes from Ponce City Market, a statement location of our beloved city. Inside, the gardens is renowned for having a similar staircase to the one at Atlanta History Center’s beautiful Swan House, however, at the gardens, it’s built into the side of the hill. Additionally, stone pathways are spread throughout the gardens and white pillars create an ethereal look, making the most beautiful location for a wedding.
Kristin and Cody met up in New York after work had the two of them in the city. Kristin models and is an actress, while Cody is a manager at a prestigious bar & restaurant. The two hit it off and the rest, was history.
These two are incredibly fun and share a sense of sarcastic humor that is endearing and sweet. I loved having the opportunity to photograph the both of them together on film and hope that you enjoy this snippet of photographs!
Kristin wore a stunning Alexandra Grecco Gown with floral apliques and Cody wore a white tux provided by The Modern Gent. Kristin’s friend, Jade of JJ Rose studio provided hair and makeup, which had beautiful pink tones that mirrored Mary Wynn (of Amy Osaba Design)’s gorgeous bouquet that featured roses in a rusty pink tone. Finally, to match the modern element of the tux, Nicolette of Isidore and Augustine created a beautiful and modern paper suite, styled to perfection by Rachel of Slauer Events.
