Last week, my business partner (and husband) Corey, and I had the joy of traveling to Old Town, in the heart of downtown Orange County, California for a beautiful destination wedding celebration with Morgyn and Hunter. These two met back in Utah in school, and after meeting, the rest was history. After becoming engaged, Morgyn immediately jumped into wedding planning. Having grew up right outside of Los Angeles with her family, she knew that she wanted to celebrate back at home with her loved ones and have her ceremony at the temple she grew up attending.
After celebrating their sealing at Newport Beach’s LDS temple, guests were invited to celebrate at Grand Gimeno, a stunning property nestled in the heart of downtown Orange. The space features a stunning historic Spanish Colonial design that preserves the character and charm of the original building and features modern touches and vibrant colors. Upon entering the beautiful french doors, guests were welcomed into the grand courtyard that boasts an authentic wood-fire pizza oven and an al fresco dining experience under the olive trees and magnolias. Let’s just say that the southern (socal) California light is truly any photographer’s dream and such a beautiful change of pace compared to our Atlanta and southeast venues. With a vibrant design and color story planned and perfectly executed by Heather of Amorolgy events and florals by Marianne of Posey Pop, those in attendance couldn’t help but feel the joy and excitement that these two had for one another.
