There’s nothing better than a gorgeous summer day in Highlands, North Carolina. Last weekend, love and joy were in the air as Anna and Will tied the knot at the beautiful Wildcat Cliffs Country Club in Highlands. Surrounded by rolling hills, lush greenery, and majestic mountains, their wedding weekend was filled with laughter, heartfelt conversations, and extraordinary moments. From the all-white croquet welcome party to the exquisite ceremony, their day was a deeply-rooted celebration of love, family, and friendship.

The festivities began with a serene, all-white croquet & cocktails welcome party. With the beautiful mountain backdrop, guests relished in the company of each other amidst the club’s scenic landscape. A croquet instructor added a touch of fun and competitive spirit to the evening, setting the tone for a weekend filled with lively festivities.

Friday’s rehearsal was followed by a private dinner in the charming heart of downtown Highlands. The evening was filled with heartwarming toasts, celebrating the love and commitment of Anna and Will. As the sun set, guests gathered around cozy fire pits to toast marshmallows and indulge in delightful s’mores.

Saturday morning brought with it a sense of serenity and excitement as the wedding party prepared for the long-awaited occasion. Beauty, laughter, and anticipation filled the air as Anna and Will spent quality time with their closest friends and family before seeing one another privately for a first reveal and portraits. At 5:30pm, the ceremony was underway. Despite looming clouds that threatened rain, the ceremony was a vision of sophistication and vibrancy. Taking place on the first tee box of the golf course, Anna and Will exchanged heartfelt vows with the stunning view of the rolling hills and mountains behind them. White paper parasols provided shade for guests as they took their seats on wrought iron and wood bistro chairs, surrounded by lush and vibrant floral arrangements crafted by the talented Kate Asire Flowers.

The reception and entire wedding day design was created by Beckon Events, and exuded elegance and charm. Three existing wrought iron chandeliers inside of the club were adorned with lush greenery and fresh blooms, creating a graceful atmosphere that drew guests’ eyes upward. The tables featured heirloom blush dinner plates, wavy peach and rust linen napkins, gold rim water goblets, and the Club’s in-house silver flatware, all set on Nantucket stripe linens. Pale green paper table numbers and menus created by Salt and Paper Press tied the entire design together beautifully, harmonizing with the floral arrangements.

After a grand entrance and heartwarming dances, Anna and Will kicked off the evening with a champagne tower, symbolizing their excitement for this new chapter. A lively band set the tone for an unforgettable night of dancing and merriment, creating cherished memories for all in attendance. As the night drew to a close, the couple bid farewell to their loved ones with an intimate send-off to their honeymoon in the Bahamas. The celebration had been a whirlwind of love and joy, leaving everyone with hearts full of happiness for the newlyweds.
