Love knows no boundaries, and for Auriana and Armon, their journey together led them from Alabama to San Diego and culminated in a stunning celebration of their union at the captivating Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, a charming garden estate known for its European architecture, in Atlanta, Georgia. Combining their Persian heritage with a touch of intentional and understated luxury, their wedding day was a true testament to the significance of family, cherished traditions, and the shared journey of life and marriage.
Auriana and Armon’s Persian background played a significant role in their wedding ceremony, infusing the day with rich cultural traditions. Amanda of Fete and Figs, a planning firm helped execute and plan the day. The expansive grounds, with their lush gardens and grand windows, provided the perfect backdrop and canvas for Stems Atlanta’s floral designs and allowed for a gorgeous setting to capture some of the most fervent moments of their special day. In the heart of the garden, an intricate ceremony design featuring a custom Sofreh Aghd, an intricate spread symbolizing the couple’s shared journey into married life. Elements such as a mirror, candlesticks, nuts, eggs, and coins represented eternity, light, fertility, and prosperity, respectively. Amidst the splendor of the day, Auriana and Armon ensured that their wedding included personal touches to honor their unique love story. One particularly moving element was the special tribute paid to the bride’s late father, who played a significant role in Auriana’s life. This heartfelt gesture allowed his presence to be felt throughout the celebration, reminding everyone of the enduring power of love and cherished memories. The couple’s union was sealed as their loved ones cheered, playfully intervening to prolong the moment until Auriana consented with a resounding “baleh!”
After the sun set, the reception came alive with a lively blend of American and Persian music, igniting the dance floor with an infectious energy. The air was filled with laughter, joy, and the rhythmic beat. The knife dance, a noteworthy tradition, added a captivating flair to the celebration, allowing everyone to feel involved and deeply rooted in friendship together. The evening slowed as Auriana and Andrew took to the dance floor, surrounded by their loved ones, for a final dance that was the perfect way to conclude the beauty of the day and the start of the next chapter together.
