Their special day was celebrated with 150 of their closest family and friends who gathered one hour outside of Atlanta, Georgia to witness their eternal love. Despite the unpredictable weather that Georgia is known for, where the temperature can drop or rise drastically, the couple was determined to have their wedding outdoors in the frigid temperatures, which is uncharacteristic for this time of year.
As the guests arrived, they were greeted by the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The couple had brought in a coffee cart from one of David’s favorite coffee shops, which was a huge hit among the guests. The bar featured custom drinks, ranging from espresso brews, teas, lattes, and hot chocolate. Of course, in order to stay true to themselves, the bride and groom had instinctually chosen Chipotle to cater their event, keeping in mind the likings of their guests. The delicious aroma and flavors filled the air, as guests enjoyed the delicious spread.
As the sun set, the party moved indoors to continue the celebrations. The couple shared their first dance surrounded by their family and friends, with heartfelt dances, and a speech from yours truly! As the music continued throughout the night, their happiness and joy echoed throughout the barn. It’s something special not only to photograph destination weddings for a living but also to be able to be a part of my sister’s wedding. There’s something about the depth and joy that’s represented through the coming together of two families and the start of a new journey. Lydia’s day was the perfect blend of whimsy and romance and an unforgettable night that perfectly encapsulated their love. Enjoy these previews!
